I made this Daisy cake for a potluck at my hubby's office. It is a yellow cake frosted with buttercream and filed with strawberry buttercream. I decorated the cake with few fondant daisies. The frosting on the cake is not very smooth, i need to improve here.I will post the recipe sometime later.

The cake looks pretty, the frosting is good, needs a little tweaking thats all :) One tip --(not sure if you know this already)when you are done frosting, dip your spatula in little water and smooth out the top, all the unevenness will be covered:)I learned this recently so thought I'd pass it on...:)

As your Husband's colleague I should share everyone's reaction at the potluck.
The Cake was so pretty that most of us did not have the heart to cut it. Finally someone dared and there on we all realised that the cake TASTED awesome too.
Being artistic and meticulous is a wonderful talent, I adore you for that.
